
Jeff is passionate about bringing together unusual partners. In the case of Partners in Food Solutions that means leading international food companies and promising food companies in Africa, as well as the US Government, private donors, NGOs, and impact investors, all coming together to improve food security and economic development across Africa.
Jeff has spent half his career in business and the other half in relief and development, including two years living and working in Zambia, and he has worked for both global organizations like Cargill and World Vision as well as several start-up ventures.
What Jeff likes most about his job is working with a strong international team—a whole network of people, coming together to accomplish something significant.
For his work leading PFS, Jeff has been named both and Ashoka Fellow and a Bush Fellow, honors reserved for leading social innovators around the world.inia’s Future who earned his master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School in 1997 and his bachelor’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University in 1994.
