As Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Jeff Shoemate leads brand strategy and consumer insights, as well as all marketing, omni-channel advertising, PR and internal communications.
Prior to joining Allina Health in 2018, Jeff was Chief Marketing Officer for Harken Health, a health insurance plus care company, where he was responsible for all marketing, advertising, branding, internal, external and member communications, including brand positioning, market launches, websites and establishing member experience strategy.
Jeff was also Vice President of Innovation and Business Development for the senior markets segment of UnitedHealthcare, where he led a team responsible for development of new product and service offerings. He has held roles in consumer marketing, product development, branding and research with Nielsen Marketing Research, James River Co, Jostens and Best Buy. Jeff is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY and earned his Marketing MBA from the University of Minnesota.
